No gas addition
- no gas when 02 valve is pressed
- no gas when dil is pressed
Monitor secondary and add dil to maintain breathable gas mixture .16 minimum. Breathe open circuit
Add 02 as needed. Manually drive. Stay closed circuit
Continuous gas venting
Monitor secondary, close bottle valves and check indicators.
If 02 drops then leave closed and open dil. Open 02 as needed
If dil drops leave bottle closed open 02. If volume make up is needed open dil
Inhalation difficulty
Add diligent until diaphragm vents
Breathing resistance
Gurgling sounds
Heads up attitude flood with diluent. Breathe open circuit
Rig flood out
Purge with diluent, breathe open circuit
No secondary display readings
Manually drive using primary
CO2 buildup
-confusion, shortness of breath, panting, increased breathing rate
Add diluent to to ventilate breathe open circuit
Conflict between primary and secondary
Monitor both and manually drive using highest ppo2 for reference
UBA fails to transition
Monitor displays and abort
