Q

describes the events that happen during prophases

A

In prophase the chromsomes coil uo and takes stains and becomes invisble .Each chromsosmes at this point consists of two daughter chromatids that are attached to each other in a region known as the centrometer .The nucleolus breaks down and the centrioles begin to pull apart to form the spindle .

Q

Metaphase

A

The nuclear membrane has broken down and the centrioles have moved to the opposite poles of the cell ,forming a set of mircotubles between them known as the spindle. The chromatids form on the metaphase plate or rquator of ths pindle during metaphase .They eventually line up along theis plate ,with each centrometere associated with a mircotubules of the spindlle .

Q

Anaphase

A

The centrometers divide and the spindle fibres contract ,the sister chromatids separate into 2 distint chromosomes and they pulled opposite poles of the cells of the cell

A

The chromosomes condense and become invisble again,
-New nuclear envelopes form around weach set of chromsosnes =2 new nuclei ,each with 1 copy of each chromosome .
