Miscellaneous Flashcards
Define Grade 3/4 AE
Grade 3: Severe or medically significant but not immediately life-threatening; hospitalization or prolongation of hospitalization required, disabling, limiting self-care ADL.
Grade 4: Life-threatening consequences, urgent intervention needed.
What are the details of our PD-L1 staining protocol?
Ventana platform, if tumours have greater than 25% surface expression of PD-L1 of any intensity, call it positive. Less than 25%, negative.
Define RECIST CR, PR, and SD.
Complete Response: Disaappearance of all target lesions.
Partial Response: At least a 30% decrease in the sum of diameters of target lesions.
Progressive Disease: At least a 20% increase in teh sum of diameters of target lesions.
Stable Disease: Neither PR nor PD.
Animal evidence for not blocking PD-L2:
- Matsumoto blocked PD-L2 during allergen challenge in mice, saw increased AHR and Th2 cytokines
- Akbari showed a lack of PD-L2 in mice led to increased AHR and inflammation
