Criteria for pregnancy loss? TVUS
gestational sac diameter less than 20mm with no yolk sac or embryo or if the fetal pole is less then 7mm with no heart beat within 30 seconds.
After the findings of a fetal pole less than 8 mm with no cardiac activity within 30 seconds is it a miscarriage? TVUS
pregnancy of uncertain viability beware uncertain dates and repeat Us taken in 7-10 days.

if no fetal heart if fetal pole is greater than 7mm

When could you not diagnose a miscarriage on transvaginal us?
If the mean gestational sac is less than 20 mm with no yolk sac or embryo. If the fetal pole is less than 8mm with no heart sound in 30 seconds.
