-the serous membrane forming the lining of the abdominal cavity or coelom in amniotes and some invertebrates, such as annelids. It covers most of the intra-abdominal (or coelomic) organs, and is composed of a layer of mesothelium supported by a thin layer of connective tissue.

EMERGENCY condition in which severe blood or fluid loss makes the heart unable to pump enough blood to the body.
- can cause many organs to stop working.
- trendelenburg position can help so blood rushes back

Hesselbach’s Triangle
The inguinal triangle is located within the inferomedial aspect of the abdominal wall. It has the following boundaries:
Medial – lateral border of the rectus abdominis muscle.
Lateral – inferior epigastric vessels.
Inferior – inguinal ligament.
***lateral border of rectus abdominus, inguinal ligament, inferior epigastric artery
