What is the word equation used when measuring the percentage of oxygen in the air?

copper + oxygen –> copper oxide

What are the two possible errors in the experiment to find the percentage of oxygen in the air and what causes these errors? (4)
A
1) Small error in the final volume recorded
- Because air in tube with the copper turnings, so oxygen in air will react with hot copper
2) The final reading will be too high
- If the apparatus doesn’t cool down at end of experiment
