It was very weak compare to the French army and lacked basic equipment and support

They were dealing with the Abyssinian crisis and therefore could do nothing more than condemn Hitlers actions.
Why did France take no military action?
They were about to hold another election and none of the leaders wanted to plunge them into war.
What did France decide to do?
They said they would only act with British support - which never came.
What did Germany say in 1925 about the Rhineland?
It was also accepted by Germany in the Loccrano Pact in 1925.
