When the experimenter gave orders over the phone obedience was
21%, some people gave weaker shocks then required, but told the experimenter they where doing the right thing
With two confederates and one real ppt, when they refused to continue
The real participant refused to continue also, 4 out of 40 carried on to the maximum shock level
When the ppt was told to give the shocks they thought the person deserved
1 out of the 40 ppts gave the maximum shock, 95% refused to deliver a shock beyond the point where the learner first protested
