What are some negative consequences of migration?

A

Greater stress is placed on the resources and social services of the country

Citizens feel threatened in the receiving country, in terms of job opportunities, housing, etc. this may lead to the exploitation of workers and open violence against the newly arrived by those who do not wish to integrate.

Brain drain occur in the country of origin as a result of loss of mainly skilled and professional persons who migrate.
