plato’s epistemology
apriori vs aposteriori, the soul once lived in the realm of the forms, all knowledge is a priority but forgotten at birth, knowledge is not based on the senses (senses are relative)
plato’s idealism
a philosophy that holds reality is ultimately contained in ideas rather than the real world, ideas exist outside the mindp
plato’s anthropology
soul is trapped in the body, soul rules over the body, it is pure and ordered, soul is immortal and once lived in the realm of the forms, longs to return, tri-partite soul (logos, appetitive, thumos)
plato’s ethics
eudaimonia, human flourishing is the highest aim of moral thought and conduct, man’s greatest good is a well ordered life which leads to inner harmony,
