means no self, not permanent, not inter dependent, compounded (made up of parts), existing as a process of change,
Mahayana Buddhist
has a thought of two great themes
Compassion: Bodhisattva
Wisdom: Emptiness
Bodhisattva
The mahayana ideal : a) savior figure; object of worship
b) personal vow/religious goal
= compassion
vow: “Save all sentient beings”
Emptiness
ALL THINGS,FULNESS, =inter being, empty of a permanent , independent “self”, identity or essence, compounded (made of parts)
Buddha
enlightened being, one who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance and achieved freedom from suffering
