What steps should you take when LIFTING a patient?
Keep your body in an upright position, bend your knees and hips, hold the patient close to you, lift with your legs, and communicate with the patient in order for them to know what you are doing.

Self assessment - Sets of question one should personally answer to figure out what career is best suited for them and be able to reflect why that may be their best choice.
Job shadowing - following an employee while they work so the experience exposes you to the reality of what the job is to see if you’re okay to do that same accurate work when you’re hired.
Clinical internship - As one grows with more knowledge and experience in the medical field they are then ready to have a hands on experience which will then benefit them by then becoming more known to become a prospective employee.
What is important during decision making?
Know what your goals are and if they can be achieved by the job you wish to obtain,
Get as much research of the potential career as possible and see if you are able to reason with the working conditions that are to be expected from this job,
Don’t let your emotions override the decision you’re about to make, Don’t rush and stick to your intuition/gut feeling,
Be confident in your decision and if a better opportunity sweeps by, be flexible and modify your path.

What are the job duties of a Respiratory Therapist?
Help patients with their breathing by: testing the patient’s lung capacity and checking their oxygen and carbon dioxide levels from their blood,
Give patients treatment and teach patients with chronic lung conditions to take care of themselves,
provide emergency care to patients who suffer from life threatening conditions, take care of their equipment and do a great deal of record keeping. If they continue on their education they can potentially advance.

What are the job duties of a pathologist?

What are the job duties of a Phlebotomist?
To draw blood from a live person/animal for test, transfusions, donations, or research. They collect blood primarily by performing venipuncture, a surgical puncture in which blood is extracted from a vein, or by taking small quantities of blood from the finger.
