Approximant consonants [r, l, j, w]-> partially voiceless [ ̥] / after aspirated voiceless stops [pʰ, tʰ, kʰ,]

it notes aspiration of a consonant

Lips will be rounded for consonants that preceed rounded vowels [u, ʊ, oʊ, ɔ]
EX: “new” [nʷu] and “shoe” [ʃʷu]
The diacritic ʷ represents the rounding of the lips in the consonants preceeding the rounded vowels
