Jerry Lundegaard hires two men to kidnap his wife for the ransom money. They kill a man. A needlessly pregnant cop is the lead. The cop wins. A “true” story.
The Untouchables
A little girl blows up. Eliot Ness is put on the case. He teams up with Jimmy Malone. They recruit George Stone and accountant Oscar Wallace. Wallace is killed in an elevator. Malone dies in Ness’ arms. The baby carriage scene. Frank Nitti is pushed off of the roof by Ness. The judge switched the juries. Capone pleads guilty.
Scarface (1932)
Full title: Scarface, Shame of the Nation
Tony Comonte becomes a big alcohol distributor. Tony gets with his boss, Johnny Lovo’s, mistress, Poppy. Ton kills his sister’s husband. He and his sister hide out in an apartment. She is killed, and shortly after, he is killed.

JJ Gittes is a matrimonial detective. He is investigating Elevlyn Mulwray’s husband who is murdered. He investigates and learns Evelyn’s father, Hollis did it to keep Cross away from the corrupt water. Hollis raped Evelyn and had a daughter.
Dirty Harry
Clint Eastwood played the lead, Harry Callahan. Harry breaks the rules to bring in the Scorpio killer. He is named Dirty because he always gets the dirtiest jobs. His partners always get hurt.
The Maltese Falcon
Detective Sam Spade helps Brigid O’Shaughnessy find the Maltese Falcon and keep it away from Kasper Gutman. He learns O’Shaughnessy killed his partner. Everyone but Spade is arrested.
