- releases the exterior (harmonize Wei & Ying)
- clears heat by moving Qi, which in turn helps pain

- regulates Qi
- regulates Qi of the arm (wrist to elbow & beyond)

- HEAT! (yang rushing up) (2nd most important pt to treat heat besides DU 14)
- NASAL problems
ex. hypertension (yang rising) yeast infections, sore throat, bladder infections lots of signs of heat

- expels wind (bell palsy, post stroke)

- unblock stagnation (any blockage) clears entire channel
- wind, damp, Bi Syndrome
- itching (wind moving around)
Jing River pts
anywhere on the shin or forearm
- METAL pt. cough, LU’s, asthma, changes in voice
ex. LU 8 - metal on metal = Horary pt and jing river pt
He Sea Pts?
always @ the joints (knees & elbows)
- gate to the organ
- DIET, BLOOD STAGNATION (PAIN)
(good to do for any treatment whether tonifying or reducing)
Yuan Source Pts
3rd most distal point on a Yin channel
4th most distal point on a Yang channel
- this is where the Original Qi resides (reminds the organ what it is to be healthy)
- always good pts to use and always a good answer on a test!
Luo Pts?
- blood & emotions
- yin/yang partners (ex. heart treats the S.I.)

ACUTE PAIN, blood stagnation, bleeding related to the organ
