Know the difference between the adjectival and adverbial participle.

- Anarthrous? Probably adverbial
Know the difference between an attributive and substantive participle.
Attributive: modifies a noun or pronoun in the sentence and agrees with it in case, number, and gender
Substantival: functions as a noun; case determined by function in sentence, number & gender determined by who or what the participle is representing.
Know how to parse a participle.
Case, number, gender, aspect, voice, meaning.
Know how a participle is built in each tense.
Pres. Act.: πιστευ + ο + ντ + ες -> πιστεύοντες
Pres. M/P: λυ + ο + μενο + ι -> λυόμενοι
1 Aor. Act: λυ + σα + ντ + ες -> λύσαντες
1 Aor. M: λυ + σα + μενο + ι -> λυσάμενοι
1 Aor. P: λυ + θέμα + ντ +ες -> λυθέντες
2 Aor. Act: βαλ + ο + ντ + ες -> βαλόντες
2 Aor. M: γεν + ο + μενο + ι -> γενόμενοι
2 Aor. P: γραφ + ε + ντ +ες -> γραφέντες
Know the exegetical significance of the subjunctive.
Expresses the mood of possibility, probability, exhortation, exhortation, and axiomatic concept.
Know the exegetical significance of the participle in each tense.
Present= Continuous action; Aorist= undefined action
Know how the subjunctive is constructed in each tense.
Pres. Act.: λυ + ω + μεν -> λύωμεν
Pres. M/P: λυ + ω + μεθα -> λυώμεθα
1 Aor.: λυ + σ +ω + μεν -> λύσωμεν
2 Aor.: λαβ + ω + μεν -> λάβωμεν
Know how to parse the subjunctive.
Person number, aspect voice mood “may” or “might.”
Know how to recognize the subjunctive.
Lengthened connecting vowel; following ἵνα, ἑάν, and other words formed with ἄν; no augment in the Aorist.

Verbal noun; indeclinable.
Know how to parse the infinitive.
Aspect, voice, “infinitive,” lexical form, inflected meaning.
Know the difference between the complementary and substantive infinitive.
Substantive is usually articular, complementary is used to complete the meaning of the sentence.
Know the exegetical significance of the imperative.
Commands.
Know how to parse the imperative.
Voice, “imperative,” person, number, lexical form, definition of inflected meaning.
Know the definition of athematic verbs.
It does not use the thematic vowel.
