Liturgical worship
A from of worship that takes place in a church that is led by a priest. Formal, and set prayers are read out
Non liturgical worship
Takes place in a church. Less formal. Take turns to read the bible. Can be modern and more appealing to younger people.
Prayer
Communicating silently or out loud. Sometimes through song. One of the most important parts of spiritual life of a Christian. Enables them to have a personal relationship with God

Eucharist
A special occasion in a Christian’s life. A priest blesses the bread and the wine and then the Christians receive this. It is thought to be Jesus body and blood.
Infant baptism
A formal service welcoming a new child into a Christian church . Holy water is sprinkled over the babies head
Believers baptism
Welcomes someone into the church who is old enough to decide for themselves.
They are submerged in a pool of holy water.
Make promises to stay away from evil
Pilgrimage
A journey made by a Christian to a holy site.
Go to places such as Lourdes and Iona
Evangelism
Christian’s have a duty to spread the word of God. E,g the Alpha course.
Christmas
Celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. They give presents to other to commemorate God sending his own son to the world.
