Narrative
The way in which the story of the events of a movie are organized

Bound motifs
Connor be removed from the narrative without radically changing the chronological essence of the story. Necessary for telling the story.
Flashbacks
Normally reveal what ‘really’ happened but they can be duplicitous
Formal properties
Refer to the elements of the medium shape what we see and hear when we watch a film. The visual. And aural element of a film
