Promotes and develops alliances among organizations for a common purpose. Does not require enhancing capacity of members of the coalition. (Not on an individual level)
Community organizing
Helps community groups to identify common problems or goals, mobilize resources, and develop and implement strategies to meet goals: Brought about by the community itself. (Not on an individual level)
Advocacy
Pleads somone’s cause or act on someone’s behalf, with a focus on developing capacity of community, system, individual or family
Social marketing
Utilizes commercial marketing principles and technologies for programs designed to influence knowledge, attitudes, values, beliefs, behaviors and practices
