Gunas

Namaste
A salutation with the hands in prayer position

Breath retention, usually done during pranayama

Directing our attention internally. The 5th limb of the eight limbed yoga system

The quality of activities or restlessness. One of the three gunas.
Samadhi
The state of ecstasy. The 8th limb of the eight limbed system of yoga.
Sankalpa
The yogic tool of intention.
Sattva
The quality of calm, clear-headedness, and balance. One of the three gunas.
Sukha
Happiness or ease
Tamas
Characterized by inertia or dullness. One of the three gunas
