Beaver wars
Dutch want fur, destabilizes relationships as they all fight for the Beavers. Trade with Indians makes them vulnerable and dependent (must live closer to forts to trade)

Used it for rituals. Dutch set up Indians to mass produce and it devalues it. Dutch see it as money
