Virtue ethics
the character and motivation of the decider determines right decision
act utilitarianism
PUREST FORM: good or badness is determined by how much pleasure or pain it gives the decider
rule utilitarianism
rule of performing the greatest good to the greatest number of people
Relational Ethics
each person in the three entity relationship must make decisions based on the other two parties and themself (patient, clinician, loved ones)

autonomy, beneficence, confidentiality, fidelity, justice, nonmaleficence, veracity
Reciprocity
mutual respect between clinician and patient. RECIPROCITY and VERACITY are necessary for principle/rule of AUTONOMY
