evoke sense of movement or speed, ladder leaned against house implies up and down movement
light meter should be
centered
Good setting for ISO and two effects of increasing your ISO
- 100
- ,camera requires more or ((less)) light and has larger grain or noise
Auto White balance
Different lights create different temperatures, AWB automatically adjusts the white balance in order to make colors as accurate as possible
-balances the majority of light
Bracketing
- Taking the same photo with an accurate exposure but changing the shutter speed and aperture
- we do this to see the effects of aperture (depth of field) and shutter speed
hue
a gradation or variety of a color; tint/shade
saturation
intensity or purity of a color
value/intensity
lightness or darkness of a color
Complementary colors

John Berger ways of seeing focuses on reproduction of
original artwork
exposure=intensity + time (E=it)
exposure=F stop (int) + shutterspeed (time)
What ratio or percentage of space in front of your primary plane of focus is in acceptably sharp focus in your image
1/3 in front and 2/3 behind
photographic term for interior lighting and what color is it
