What is the difference between communicable and incommunicable attributes of God

A

God shares with us some of his essence but doesn’t share some aspects of his essence with us. His communicable attributes he shares with his, his incommunicable attributes he retains from us. The incommunicable attributes are hard for us to understand because they are the least like us. Some examples of these are independence and eternality. The communicable attributes are partially transferable from God to Man. These are easier for us to comprehend because we have a certain measure of experience with them. Some examples of these are wisdom, love, mercy and jealousy.
