Aufbau Principle
the principle that is based on electrons attempting to be as far apart as possible
ex: must put spin up arrows in each orbital before adding the spin down arrows
Hund’s rule
wave-particle duality. wavelength and momentum are associated
De’Broigle
no two electrons in the same atom can have identical values for all 4 of the quantum numbers.
(no more than two electrons can occupy the same orbital and one must be spin up while other is spin down).
