Definition of team building
systematic and deliberate actions taken to promote closeness, connection, unified purpose and shared commitment among teams or groups
5 features of deliberate practice
- demands full concentration and accurate mental images
- requires near-maximal physical effort and sufficient recovery
- involves well-defined, specific TCs for practicing just outside the comfort zone
- not perceived as enjoyable because of effort required

Athlete figures out optimal method through experimenting and failing, with mild guidance from the coach
Use anytime it’s possible, esp with kids, new activities, moments of important learning
