It has 3 parts:
• Triumphant: Church in Heaven (the saints and angels who have already reached eternal life with God).
• Purgative: Church in Purgatory (souls undergoing purification before entering Heaven, “cleaning from sins”).
• Suffering: Church on Earth (the living believers still facing challenges, struggles, and the process of sanctification).
What does Purgative stand for
a stage between US and HEAVEN
