Q

What does the Book of Mormon (specifically 2 Nephi 2) add to our understanding of the fall?

A

It was a good thing! Adam and Eve made a good choice to have kids!
No flesh can dwell in the presence of god save it be through the Messiah, The Messiah cometh that he may redeem the children from the fall, we have the laws of God and are taught to know good from evil, there is opposition in all things, the fall was Adam and eves choice (stay or have kids), God purposely created an environment of law, enticement, sin, opposition, choice, growth, and progress.
