Jean d’Arc

A

15th Century
At 13 she said he heard voices from God & Saints to help Charles defeat England and become King at Rheims.
She is initially laughed off, but ultimately allowed to lead army. She succeeds and is considered heroine “Maid of Orleans”
She is later captured and sold to England who got the Roman church to discredit her as a witch.
At 19 she was burned at the stake.
