What is the difference between Close and Exit?
Close: Closes the file but not the application
Exit: Shuts-down the application

Application software can be divided into two general classes: systems software and applications software. Applications software
Document Window
The document window is the area where you enter new text and data or change existing text and data
File Extension
The file extension identifies the type of file. A period separates the filename and the extension
Insertion point
The Insertion point is a blinking vertical line that indicates the location in the document where the new text and data will be entered
Jump List
A Jump list is a collection of links that provides quick access to files and data
Ribbon
The Ribbon is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task
Shortcut menu
The Shortcut menu is a tip menu
Subfolders
A Subfolder is a folder containing a folder

Crtl A selects all
Crtl C
Crtl C copys the selection
Crtl V
Crtl V pastes the copied selection
