A laboratory instrument used ro examine cery smallor micro-objects sich as cells and microorganisms m that are not able to be seen by the naked eye?
Microscope
On the upper side of the microscope and carries the optical lens
Head
Overall suppoet of the microscope and carries microscope illuminators, brightness adjustment switch, and a light switch
Base
Supporting element that connects ghe base and headnof the microscope
Arm
Also called the ocular lens. This is to see the specimen and it is at the top of the microscope
Eyepiece
How do you calculate the total magnification?
The objective x the eyepiece
What are the different scanning objectives?
Scanning objective, low power objective, high power objective
Holder of the eyepiece. Connects the euepiece and ocular lenses to the objective lenses.
Eyepiece tube
Most important part of the microscope. It is to visualize the specimen
Objective lens

Also called the revolving turret. To hold different types of objective lenses.
Revolving Nose piece
Adjust the focus of the microscope
Coarse and fine adjustment knobs
What is coarse adjustment knob?
To bring the specimen into approximate or near focus
What is fine adjustment knob?
Sharpen the focus quality of the image after the coarse adjustment knob
Where the specimen is placed and used for viewing
