Tray-like structure that supports the specimen/slide over stage opening
STAGE
Keeps specimen/slide tight against stage
STAGE CLIPS
Allows light to pass through/around specimen
STAGE OPENING
Controls amount of light that reaches your eye
DIAPHRAGM
Provides light to create the image that you see
LIGHT SOURCE
Larger knob, moves one of 3 structures (body tube, stage, or nose piece) and allows for rough focus
COARSE ADJUSTMENT
Smaller knob, moves the objectives slightly and allows for fine focusing
FINE ADJUSTMENT
