How to use a microscope
A
- Move stage to its lowest position.
- Place the object you want to observe on the stage. The object should be on a glass slide.
- Select the objective lens with the lowest magnification.
- Look through the eyepiece and start turning the coarse-focus knob slowly until you see your object.
- MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE FOCUS KNOBS SLOWLY TO AVOID BREAKING THE SPECIMEN SLIDE.
- Turn the fine-focus knob to bring your object into more focus.
