Q

What are the types of mutations

A

small scale
substitution - when a single
nucleotide is replaced by another
silent mutation and
replacement mutation

 Insertion/deletion - when one or
 more nucleotide are added or
 removed

Large scale
mutations in chromosomal
structure like translocations,
inversions, duplications,
chromosomal loss.
