Q

Human nature

A

‘Falliable not terrible’ but incapable of creating a perfect society, but could get pleasure and improvement through every day life.

Offered some optimism in his view of humanity in appreciation in the good things that exist rather than facing the frustration of chasing an ideal that could not be reached. Like Burke he favoured a society of local communities.
