How to put together BVM

 Items - Hepa Filter, ETC02, 90ͦ piece, Corrugated Tubing, Intubation adapter, PEEP valve
 SetUp
o Attach90ͦpiecetomask.
o Attach the 90ͦ piece to the Hepa filter.
o Attach ETC02 to Hepa filter.
o Attach intubation adapter to corrugated tubing. o AttachadaptertoETC02.
 The above assembly can be put together and placed with BVM in bag.
 The PEEP valve it attached to the bagger when needed, until then it is placed in the
BVM bag.
 Option neb attachment can be used (T piece neb found in Macaretey Device or with
CPAP). This will involve moving pieces around. The HEPA filter is needed and the Neb
will need to be as close to the patient as possible.

How to set up CPAP

Items: Hepa filter, circuit, extra mask, head straps, ETC02, Neb attachment
 CPAP Set Up
o Use Nasal ETC02.
o Use either mask and attach the 90 ̊ piece.
o Attach the circuit or the neb attachment & circuit to the 90 ̊ piece. o Use adapter that comes with the circuit and attach the HEPA filter. o Attach large circuit tubing to the patient circuit connection
o Attach the small hose to the expiratory valve connection
o Attach white 02 hose to the wall or 02 tank.
o Secure mask with the head straps.
