Located in the Americas, main crop was vegetables, all thought that priests should be in the upper class to keep the gods happy, and polytheistic
How did their location lead them into success?
Maya- volcanic soil helped its crops grow healthy
Inca- territory was in the mountains which meant that they could have the right climate for the crops that they grew
Aztec- location protected them from enemy attacks and they built their city on a lake so they had water access
MIAs- everything that let them farm
What did the European Conquistadors find when they landed in the Americas?
Lots of different complex civilizations
