Ace inhibitor
Beta blocker
Statin

Lifestyle points
A
Diet: Mediterranean style, switch butter and cheese for plant oil based products. Do not recommend omega 3 or oily fish
Exercise: 20-30 mins/day until ‘slightly breathless’
Smoking cessation
Sex can recommence 4 weeks after MI. Sildenafil can be used 6 months after MI. Do not use Sildenafil if using nitrates or nicorandil

Eg eplerenone
If had had MI and have symptoms or signs of heart failure and LV dysfunction
Initiated 3-14 days post-MI preferably after ACE-i
