he ended the civil war Lázaro Cárdenas became president and reestablished the ancient ejido system, which established communally shared tracts of farmland.
Describe the mexican american war
texas got indepdence from mexico. Mexico warned U.S. to not take over and make it a slave state. The U.S. didnt care, and did it anyways. Then, Polk wanted more land and offered to buy it. Mexico said no. Polk declared war and marched into Mexico City, (like hernan when he took the aztec empire). Santa Anna was invited back to Mexico and fooled the US saying he will end the war in U.S. terms. He lied and fought the us military. He got hurt and took presidency in one month. The war had ended and when ana resigned, the us made a deal with the new president: keep texas and buy the rest of the land.
