What is filtration used for?
A
They are used to seperate mixtures. They let smaller pieces or liquids through but trap larger pieces or insoluble substances

What is crystallisation used for?
A
Crystallisation is used to produce solid crystals from a solution. When the solution is warmed, some of the solvent evaporates leaving behind a more concentrated solution.

A
It is used to find out which coloured compounds the mixture contains

A
It is used to separate two or more liquids. It works because some liquids boil more easily than others
