Adv: A quick and effective methods especially for short journeys

Dis: The railway terminal is often not the final destinations, so results in long periods of rail haulage cost.
Not suitable for some areas e.g. a remote shop in the north west Scotland.

Adv: Ideal for long distances and remote locations.
Quick delivers made overseas instead of driving.
Dis: This method is more expensive than others, otherwise everyone would do it.
Air ports are not the final destination and may result in road haulage costs.

Production distributes via Shipping lanes.
Adv: Useful for exporting or importing heavy or bulky objects, e.g. a car.
Dis: A slower method of delivery so longer delivery

Services sent via satellite signal, e.g. TV or satnav
Adv: Services are distributed exactly to the customers location e.g. satnav.
Dis: Signals can be interrupted by adverse weather.
High installing costs.

Adv: Services are distributed exactly to the customers location e.g. five optics for tv.
