They are used to communicate information to individuals, or groups of people on a specific subject.

What is meant by Title Page?

What the report is about, the date of preparation, who it is for and who wrote it.
What is meant by Summary?

A brief summary of what the report covers and the conclusions and recommendations it makes.
What is meant by Introduction?

Who requested the report, why and when it was completed.
What is meant by Findings?
(Reports)
The main body of the report, including all information presented in a clear and logical way.
What is meant by Conclusions?

This will be based on the findings in report and should be justified by logical reasoning.

These are the actions that the writer(s) of the report recommends should be taken based on conclusions.
What is meant by Appendices?

Figures, including spreadsheets and tables, will be attached as an appendix to the report.

A corporate social responsibility report that will be used by the general public.
