An instrument/tool used to measure the speed of wind
Barometer (n)
An instrument/tool used to measure the atmospheric pressure, usually to determine altitude or weather changes.
Hydrometer (n)
An instrument/tool used to measure humidity, the amount of water vapor in the air.
Centimeter (n)
A metric unit of length equal to one hundredth ( 100/1 ) of a meter.
Kilometer (n)
A metric unit of length equal to 1,000 meters. Used to measure the distance traveled by a vehicle in other foreign countries (like England) other than the USA.
Thermometer (n)
An instrument/tool used to measure temperature.
Biometer (n)
An instrument/tool used to measure the amount of carbon dioxide given off by a living organism.
Photometer (n)
An instrument/tool used to measure the intensity, or brightness of light.
