deductive argument
If the premises are true, the conclusion MUST be true. It’s a way of finding a conclusion that is certain and based on logical reasoning.
inductive argument
If the premises are true, the conclusion is LIKELY to be true. It’s a way of probable conclusion by looking at evidence and experience.
abductive argument
If the premises are true, the conclusion is the best explanation of them (an inference to the best explanation).

Descartes and omnipotence
omnipotence means that God can do absolutely anything including the logically impossible.
e.g. making a square a circle, 2+2=5
Aquinas and omnipotence
omnipotence does not include the ability to do logically impossible tasks and self-contradictory actions.
