Q

example if write up of result

A

A total of 2581 participants were analysed. Meta-analyses showed an overall improvement in work
effectiveness in those taking part in a psychological digital health intervention, relative to controls who
did not, SMD= 0.25 (95% CI = 0.09 to 0.41) z= 3.00, p= .003.

Heterogeneity for the overall effect was high (I
2 = 75%), χ2 (12) = 48.24, p<.001, suggesting that the
pooled effect size estimate would likely change with further evidence.

The findings of this meta-analysis suggest that psychological digital health interventions improve work
effectiveness. This is something that would be beneficial to disseminate to workplaces since it may be a
relatively low-cost activity that positively impacts on employee work effectiveness. However, given the
significant heterogeneity of the pooled studies, results should be interpreted with caution.
