How long does the prescriber need to provide a prescription after requesting emergency supply
Within 72 hrs

What prescriptions are repeatable, which ones aren’t
Schedule 2 and 3 not repeatable, schedule 4 and 5 are repeatable
When to dispense repeats
First dispensing done in 6 months then no legal time limit for rest. For schedule 4 cd, first dispensing in 28 days then no time limit for others
What cds can be given via emergency supply and what’s the max days
Phenobarbital is the only schedule 3 given as emergency supply
CD schedule 4 and 5 can be given as emergency supply, max 5 days treatment
