3/4 oz sweet vermouth
2 dsh Angostura bitters

• Stir w/ ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish w/ cherry

Blood and Sand

Answer 2

1 oz blended scotch
1/2 oz Cherry Heering (cherry liqueur)
1/2 oz Punt e Mes (Italian vermouth)
1/2 oz orange juice

• Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish w/ orange twist

very similar to Remember the Maine
Blood & Sand = Blended Scotch

Old Fashioned

2 oz rye whiskey
1/4 oz simple syrup
8 dsh Angostura bitters
2 dsh Peychaud’s bitters

• Stir w/ ice in rocks glass with ice. Express orange peel.
• Garnish w/ expressed orange peel and cherry

1/2 oz Punt e Mes (Italian vermouth)
1/2 oz Cherry Heering (cherry liqueur)
1/4 oz Herbsaint

• Stir and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish w/ cherry

Sazarac

Answer 5

2 oz rye whiskey
1/4 oz simple syrup
8 dsh Angostura bitters
2 dsh Pechaud’s bitters
rinse w/ Herbsaint

• Chill rocks glass. Build Sazarac in mixing glass. Stir. Rinse chilled rocks glass w/ Herbsaint. Strain to chilled rocks glass (no ice).
• Garnish w/ expressed lemon peel

very similar to Remember the Maine
Old Fashioned w/ a Herbsaint rinse + different garnish

Whiskey Sour

Answer 6

1 1/2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz egg white

• Dry shake first then shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice. Dash w/ bitters.
• Garnish w/ cherry
