- Stigmata of disease (e.g jaundice?)

What would you consider when assessing behaviour in a MSE? (6 things)
- Engagement (distracted?)
- Eye contact (reduced or excessive?)
- Facial expression
- Body language (standing, hunched over, covering face?)
- Psychomotor activity (restlessness or delayed responses)
- Abnormal movements (involuntary, tremor, rocking etc)
What would you consider when assessing Speech in a MSE? (5 things)
- Rate
- Quantity (excessive or minimal)
- Tone (monotonous, tremulous = anxiety)
- Volume of speech
- Fluency (stuttering, slurred? )
What is the difference between mood and affect and what would you consider when assessing affect in a MSE? (4things)

- Affect is what you observe
