  • Affect is what you observe
    1.*is it Heightened or blunted/ flat affect

2.*FIXED AFFECT: remains the same throughout the interview

3.*RESTRICTED AFFECT: changes slightly throughout

4.*LABILE AFFECT: exaggerated changes in emotion
