what happens to the body in a fight or flight response?
The response is triggered by the release of hormones that prepare your body to either stay and deal with a threat (fight) or to run away to safety (flight)
adrenaline is released (fires out) from the adrenal glands, this results in increased heart rate, blood pressure (more blood goes to the brain), breathing rate, sweating and body cells releasing energy
it is essential to survival, improving blood flow to the areas that need it, keeping your body cool, providing you with more energy, helping you see and respond more quickly, & improving your mindset
