  2. significantly impaired decision making ability
  3. detemining treatment required (or giving treatment undr STD + CTO)
  4. significant risk - them or others
  5. infomral/voluntary care not appropriate

72hr assessment

A

fully registered doctor = FY2 and above

(can ONLY be removed by a senior psychiatrist)
